Antidoping regulations

The Anti-Doping Convention of the Council of Europe, came into force in Estonia on the 1st of Jan’ 1998. Thereon all the principles of the Convention became liable for Estonia.

On 26th of Nov’ 2004, Estonian Republic ratified the additional protocol for the Anti-Doping Convention of the Council of Europe (adjudicated on 1st of Mar’ 2005), in which the allied countries approve anti-doping tests conducted by other countries.

The UNESCO General Assembly session shall take place in Oct’ 2005, there the main theme will be the International Convention Against Doping in Sport, in order to accept the mentioned convention before the Olympic games in Torino, 2006.
